Personal Rebrand (2025) —
My original brand identity was built around my maiden name, Medenblik (pronounced "Made in Blik"). The minimalist black-and-white aesthetic drew inspiration from product origin labels and manufacturing stamps, reflecting a clean, modern approach to design.
Since establishing that identity, I've completed my BFA in Graphic Design, developed significantly as a designer, and gotten married—prompting a natural evolution in my personal branding. My new name, Werner, inspired a rebrand with subtle wordplay: Werks by Werner. This updated identity maintains the sophistication of the original while introducing vintage-inspired elements and a refined color palette that expands beyond black and white to include strategic red accents, creating a modern edge with timeless appeal.
